Representative imageDC Rectifier with Harmonic Filter
This is a high-current AC-to-DC rectifier system with integrated harmonic mitigation, supplying regulated DC for heavy electro-process and high-power conversion loads.
Overview
This is a high-current AC-to-DC rectifier system with integrated harmonic mitigation, supplying regulated DC for heavy electro-process and high-power conversion loads. A plain 6-pulse converter draws strongly distorted input current; ACE integrates multi-pulse rectification (phase-shifting transformer plus 12-, 18-, 24- up to 48-pulse bridges) together with input harmonic filtering and DC-side smoothing to bring line-current THDi down to IEEE-519 limits (~5%) and reduce output ripple. ACE manufactures units up to 15,000 A DC. Buyers select it where they need a large, clean DC source for electrochemical or DC-arc processes and must simultaneously satisfy utility harmonic limits at the point of common coupling — getting rectifier, phase-shift transformer and filter as one engineered package.
